Ramadan 2024

Ramadan 1445 begins on the evening of Sunday, March 10, 2024 with the first Taraweeh salat occurring after the Isha salat.  The Masjid will be open for Taraweeh each evening during Ramadan.

Zakat al Fitr should be given as soon as possible.  Minimum suggested amount is $5 per person.

Donations can be made in person or online.

The holy month of Ramadan is coming to a close, and the Islamic Society of Greater Youngstown volunteers are all hard at work preparing for a joyous Eid al Fitr celebration on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.

This year, the Masjid al Khair will be joining with the Masjid Yunus Emre to hold a large Eid al Fitr salat at the Metroplex.  

The Takbeer starts at 8am & the Eid Salat will be at 9am.  

 

We will have painters tape down on the carpet for lines, but recommend bringing your own prayer rugs and a bag for your shoes.

Coffee and donuts to follow.  There will be activities and goody bags for the kids to enjoy as well!
